Terms & Conditions
Terms and Conditions
Last updated: 18 March 2025
These Terms and Conditions apply to the use of the Davanco Designs website and to the purchase of products from us.
By using this website and/or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
1. About Us
Davanco Designs is a trading name of Davanco Conversions Ltd. References in these Terms to
“we”, “us” and “our” mean Davanco Designs / Davanco Conversions Ltd.
2. Products
We design, manufacture and supply campervan furniture, flat-pack kits, pods, conversion components and related products.
Many of our products are made to order, built to specification, or modified to suit a customer’s requirements.
Product images, descriptions, dimensions, finishes and specifications are provided as accurately as possible.
However, slight variations may occur as part of the manufacturing process, screen display differences, material batches,
hardware updates, or product improvements.
3. Orders and Contract Formation
All orders are subject to acceptance and availability. After an order is placed, you may receive an acknowledgement or order confirmation.
This does not mean the order has been accepted.
A binding contract is formed when we confirm acceptance of your order, or when the goods are dispatched or made available for collection,
whichever happens first.
We reserve the right to refuse, cancel or limit any order where necessary, including where there is an error in pricing,
availability, product information, or where we reasonably suspect misuse.
4. Pricing and Payment
All prices are shown in GBP (£). VAT will be charged where applicable.
Prices and delivery charges may be changed at any time before an order is accepted.
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, full payment must be received before dispatch or collection.
5. Lead Times
Any lead times stated on the website, by email, by phone, or in person are estimates only.
While we make reasonable efforts to meet quoted timescales, delays may occur due to material shortages,
courier issues, supplier delays, production scheduling, machinery downtime, staffing levels, or other circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
We shall not be liable for losses arising solely from estimated lead times not being met.
6. Bespoke, Made-to-Order and Modified Goods
Many of our products are made to order, programmed, cut, finished or modified to a customer’s requested dimensions,
layout, specification, finish or vehicle type.
It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that all measurements, drawings, templates, selections and specifications
supplied to us are accurate and suitable for the intended use.
Where goods are made to the customer’s specification or clearly personalised, cancellation and return rights may be limited,
except where the goods are faulty, not as described, or where your statutory rights otherwise apply.
7. Delivery and Collection
Delivery dates are estimates only and are not guaranteed unless expressly agreed in writing.
Risk in the goods passes to the customer on delivery or collection.
It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that the delivery address, access arrangements and contact details are correct.
Additional charges may apply if a delivery fails due to incorrect information, missed delivery, or restricted access.
If goods are collected by the customer or their courier, risk passes at the point of collection.
8. Delivery Damage, Shortages and Inspection
All goods must be inspected as soon as reasonably possible after delivery or collection.
Any visible delivery damage, packaging damage, shortages, or missing items must be reported to us promptly.
Where damage is reported, clear photographs must be provided showing:
- the outer packaging;
- the damaged area of the product;
- the overall item received; and
- where relevant, the delivery label.
We strongly recommend that any transit damage is reported within 48 hours of delivery to help us investigate
with the courier efficiently. Failure to report promptly may affect our ability to recover costs from the courier,
but this does not remove any statutory rights you may have if goods are faulty or not in conformity with the contract.
9. Finish, Materials and Cosmetic Expectations
Our products are manufactured using materials including, but not limited to, laminated boards, lightweight plywood,
veneered panels, tambour doors, solid wood worktops, edging materials, and powder-coated or painted components.
Natural and manufactured materials can vary in tone, grain, texture, sheen and appearance from batch to batch.
Samples, website images and previous orders are intended as a guide only and may not be an exact match.
The customer acknowledges that minor cosmetic variation may occur as part of normal manufacturing and handling,
including slight colour variation, grain variation, small surface marks not visible at normal viewing distance,
edge detail variation, and other non-structural characteristics consistent with the type of product supplied.
Some finishes and components are more delicate than others in day-to-day use. For example, gloss, acrylic, laminated
and tambour-style surfaces may be more prone to light scratching, handling marks or visible wear over time.
Such wear arising from normal use, installation, transport after delivery, cleaning methods, misuse, or customer handling
is not treated as a manufacturing defect.
We recommend careful handling during unpacking, storage, fitting and use, and that protective coverings remain in place until needed.
10. Installation, Fitting and Kit Fixing Disclaimer
Many of our products are supplied as flat-pack kits, pre-manufactured components, or furniture units requiring installation into a vehicle.
Unless expressly agreed otherwise in writing, we supply the product only and do not provide installation, engineering certification,
crash testing, or vehicle type approval.
The customer or installer is solely responsible for:
- checking the product is suitable for their vehicle and intended use before installation;
- ensuring safe and competent installation;
- selecting appropriate fixing methods, fastening points, reinforcements and materials;
- checking for wiring, fuel lines, brake lines, structural members and other concealed hazards before drilling or fixing;
- ensuring the completed installation is safe, secure, roadworthy and compliant with any applicable legal, insurance or inspection requirements.
We do not warrant that any particular fixing method, screw pattern, floor fixing, wall fixing, or installation approach will be suitable
for every vehicle, conversion, payload, or use case unless expressly confirmed by us in writing.
We shall not be liable for loss, damage, failure, injury or consequential loss arising from:
- incorrect installation or assembly;
- inadequate or unsuitable fixing methods;
- failure of the vehicle floor, wall, frame, substrate or mounting surface;
- movement of furniture or equipment in transit or in the event of braking, impact or collision;
- modifications carried out by the customer or third party after supply.
If the customer is in any doubt, installation should be carried out or checked by a suitably qualified and competent professional.
11. Vehicle Compliance and Suitability
The customer is responsible for ensuring that any product fitted to a vehicle is suitable for that vehicle and intended use,
and complies with any relevant laws, regulations, inspection requirements, insurer requirements, weight limits, and safety obligations.
Unless expressly stated in writing, our products are not supplied with crash-test certification, M1 pull-test certification,
engineering approval, or any representation that a completed installation will meet any specific approval standard.
12. Returns and Cancellations
For standard, non-bespoke items purchased online, consumers may have the right to cancel within the applicable statutory cancellation period,
subject to the goods being returned in appropriate condition and subject to any lawful deductions where permitted.
Goods that are made to order, personalised, customised, specially programmed, cut to size, or modified to the customer’s specification
may not be cancelled or returned unless faulty, not as described, or otherwise required by law.
Returned goods must not be used, assembled, installed, drilled, cut, modified or damaged if a return is requested for a standard item.
The customer is responsible for return costs unless we agree otherwise or the return is due to our error.
13. Faulty, Damaged or Incorrect Goods
Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights.
If goods are faulty, damaged on arrival, or not as described, please contact us as soon as reasonably possible with full details,
photographs and your order information so we can investigate and offer an appropriate remedy.
14. Warranty
We provide a 12-month warranty against manufacturing defects from the date of delivery or collection, unless a different warranty period is stated in writing.
This warranty does not cover:
- normal wear and tear;
- cosmetic wear from normal use;
- scratches, dents or damage caused after delivery or collection;
- damage caused by poor storage, incorrect assembly, incorrect installation, misuse, overloading or neglect;
- damage caused by third-party modification or repair;
- natural movement, variation or ageing of wood-based and decorative materials.
15. Limitation of Liability
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation,
or any other liability which cannot be excluded or limited by law.
Subject to the above, our liability arising out of or in connection with any order shall be limited to the price paid for the goods in question.
We shall not be liable for indirect or consequential losses, loss of profit, loss of revenue, loss of opportunity, loss of use,
or business interruption, except where such limitation is not permitted by law.
16. Intellectual Property
All website content, text, photographs, drawings, CAD files, designs, product imagery, branding and layout remain our intellectual property
or that of our licensors unless otherwise stated.
No content may be copied, reproduced, adapted, distributed or used commercially without our prior written permission.
17. Privacy
Personal data is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable data protection law.
18. Website Content
We make reasonable efforts to ensure the information on our website is accurate, but we do not guarantee that all descriptions,
technical details, pricing, stock status or images are always complete, current and error-free.
We reserve the right to correct any errors or omissions without liability.
19. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time.
The version published on our website at the time of your order will generally apply to that order unless a change is required by law.
20. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, unless consumer law provides otherwise.
